The 21.3m, two-tonne Christmas tree is a traditional present from the people of Oslo in thanks for Britain's assistance during the Second World War.
Vanguard transported the tree on an extendible trailer from Felixstowe as it does every year free of charge, as a token of thanks to the people and industry of London for the business they give the company each year.
