QI have recently passed my CPC and hope in the near future to own and operate my own vehicle. I have HGV 1. Could you put me in touch with some reputable firms which have owner-operators working for them?
GI, Wolverhampton AIt would not be practical for me to advise you on where to go for work with firms who employ owner drivers. But make very sure that
you read the terms and conditions of work given to you by a company. If you do not understand them then it is worth
spending with your solicitor to make sure that there are no loopholes.
A large number of owner drivers have problems with such firms.
