• Merseyside Transport is promoting environmental concern in Liverpool, with the launch of a Green advertising bus which spells out its message. The cam.paign forms part of a much wider Bus and Coach Council campaign designed to win public support for buses.
Both the BCC and Merseybus are promoting the facts that buses run on lead-free fuel; use energy more efficiently, carry more passengers than cars, and are the safest form of road transport.
