Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Ultra-Violet Products is marketing a product to detect leaks in any closed liquid system within minutes using the properties of fluorescent chemicals under UV light.

A chemical additive is simply poured into the system (engine, radiator, machine and so on) which is then run for a few minutes to allow the additive to permeate through. The UV lamp will then pick out any leak — even a very small one — as the additive which seeps out clearly fluoresces under the UN light.

In vehicle repair shops, for example, says UVP, diagnosis is performed in a matter of minutes with the product, Reveal, and call-backs caused by inaccurate or incomplete diagnosis should be almost completely avoided.

The system offers a range of different additives and lamps for various applications in vehicle-repair shops.
