• When spot-welding automatic panels it is important to ensure that even the curved parts make good contact and that the welded joint is totally sealed and protected against corrosion. 3M 08625 Weld Through Sealer has been introduced to offer a solution to these requirements.
The product complements 3M Zinc Spray coating, but is suited to poorly fitting panels where a thin coating may not be sufficient to give good electrical contact. The thickness of the polybutene rubber base also provides adhesion on steel and flexible barrier against humidity, water or salt spray.
