CHRISTIAN Salvesen is considering developing a large chill store to serve the New Covent Garden fruit and vegetable market in London.
Negotiations are at an advanced stage, and if there is agreement, building of the chill store could start next year.
Christian Salvesen distribution director David Howe told CM that the store would be a public one, part funded by the company and part by public money.
