GUIDELINES are to be issued shortly for investors keen to build a third crossing at the Dartford tunnel, a potential bottleneck on the M25 London ringway.
Transport Minister Lynda Chalker has told MPs that inquiries from construction and financial undertakings havt confirmed the private sector' interest in a third crossing.
Chalker also announced that a major night-time refurbishment of the existing northbound tunnel, lasting two years, will start early next year.
