A new £100,000 company, under the title of Irish Sea Ferries Ltd., is to transport trailers and containers, using Warrenpoint as its Irish base, and operating to England and Scotland.
A container service from Newry, only 10 miles from Warrenpoint, is proposed by the British dnd Trish Steam Packet Co. Ltd.
