III A subbie claims logistics firm TOG has failed to pay him nearly 14,000 for work dating back to last December, despite repeated complaints to the company.

The driver, who wishes to remain anonymous but makes deliveries for the Carnforth depot in Lancashire on behalf of Kimberly Clark, says several changes in the computer system have conspired to prevent him from Wag Paid.

He also claims be is not the only subcontractor owed money and fears that now the third transport manager in eight months has joined the firm, he may never see any of it.

After CM contacted TOG, a letter was sent to he driver explaining that any outstanding payments will be settled by the end of August. Thomas admits that "cash flow hiccups" have hit the haulier hard, but denies that the computer system or transport managers are to blame. He says problems might arise when a job for a particular subcontractor is changed at the last minute.
