Iwould like to make a point about HGV and PSV drivers: they are not psychic. The A616 tragedy (CM 31 Jul6 Aug) was due to the local council's inability to signpost a low bridge properly: not to the poor driver of the HGV who had no warning that his vehicle was too high. Where are the warning signs?
You are currently plugging anti bridge bashing kits. Don't you think your efforts should go towards proper signposting by local councils? If you don't have proper warning, no kit is going to be of any use, is it?
It would be good to see drivers writing in with their experiences with bridges. Maybe a list could be compiled of badly signposted bridges where psychic powers are needed.
