Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Torridge Transport has added this ERF double-drive sixwheeler to its fleet of 28 Seddon Atkinsons to collect timber from West Country forests.

The drawbar has a 22-tonne payload on a GVW of 38 tonnes. Its 380hp engine drives a double rear bogie on air suspension through a 12-speed Twin Splitter gearbox. Equipment includes an outreach skeletal timber body and a Jonsered 890 crane which loads both the truck and its skeletal trailer. Torridge Transport's Brian Cobbledick explains that he needed a rugged vehicle with more payload than an eight-wheeler. An artic could not manage some of the forest tracks so he went for ERF's solution.
