Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A new tyre to be introduced by Firestone at the Show is designed for use on goods and passenger vehicles operating at high road speeds. It is called the Transport 300 and has an extra-wide five-rib flat tread that is designed to provide long, even wear and give increased load /mileage characteristics.

The two main grooves of the tyre are located close to the shoulders to help dissipate heat and give good water drainage. Rounded shoulders guard against damage from sharp kerbs and there is an extra-wide curving rib to protect each side wall from scuffing.

The Transport 300 has a textile casing and is available in 9ft 9.00-20, 14-ply and 10.00-20, 16-ply sizes.
