A 45-seat front entrance Camagna Two ingle-deck bus body mounted on a eyland-engined Bristol RESL6L chassis or Southdown Motor Services Ltd is to be hown on the stand of Marshall of ambridge (Engineering) Ltd at the ommercial Motor Show next month.
The body incorporates the well-known
arshall all-metal construction, with xterior panelling between the waist and floor line of 18 swg aluminium, and 20 swg pillar cappings. The skirt and corner panels, front and rear domes and entrance step well are of moulded glass-reinforced plastics. Corrosion resistance is provided by subjecting all steel framing and so on to 3hosphate treatment to BS DEF29 Class II
which embraces the immersion process, followed by high performance sealing and finishing.
Glass-reinforced plastics is also used for the partitions separating the integrally built driver's compartment from the main saloon. Green Treadmaster is used throughout for lining the steps and flooring, while all interior lining cs of Warerite plastics. Accles and Pollock seats are fitted and are of BETA/1 design with open stainless steel top rails.
Triplex electrically heated front screens are provided and the saloon windows incorporate Beclawat top sliders; a Smiths 1500 heating system is fitted.
