licence by Mr. J. L. Denton, of Coieford, Gloucestershire, was formally refused by the Western Licensing Authority, Mr. J. R. C. Samuel-Gibbon, at Cheltenham last Friday, when Mr. Denton did not appear. He had applied for one 4-ton vehicle to carry goods for Rogers Quarries Ltd.
Appearing for five objectors, Mr. I. R. D. Jenkins said he expected an interesting legal argument as to whether the objectors were, in fact, legal objectors. He told the L.A., after the court had " been sitting for more than two hours, that Mr. Denton had been informed of the hearing on July 10.
