LORD BRABAZON and MR. W. LIONEL FRASER haVe been appointed directors of Thomas Tilling, Ltd.
ALD. BRADLEY, chairman of Bolton Corporation Transport Committee, has been appointed vice-president of the 'Municipal Passenger Transport Association, on the executive council of which he has Served since 1936.
MAJOR THE rION. ERIC LONG, who
was for several years well known as one of the most active staff members of A.R.O., may shortly resume his duties with that body, in which case he will devote his time in the main to Area and Parliamentary activities.
MR. WILLIAM Eowaeos. has been re-elected president of the National Road Transport Employers' Federation, whilst the following have been re-elected vice-presidents: Messrs. H. P. Currie, W. Hercock, J. H. 'Turner, R. P. Bailey, W. J. Elliott, J. Paterson, F. W. Wentworth.
MR. PERCY WILLIS, J.P., has resigned the secretaryship of Blackpool Trades Council upon' his appointment as works supertntendent of Blackpool Corporation Transport Department. He was employed in Blackpool Electricity Department for 10 years, subsequently joining the engineering staff of the transport department.
MR. C. S. DuNBAit, Whom we recently described as being of Hauliers, Ltd., is not now actually with that concern, but since the formation of Central Carriers Ltd., of Birmingham, has been managing director, of the latter company. He acts also as. managing director of Picton (Birmingham) Ltd., the shareholders and directors of which are, identical with Central Carriers Ltd.
