I MUST comment on the Czech truck driver responsible for a fatal road accident (CM 17 March). Once again a foreign truck driver is responsible for the death of another motorist .The Czech driver was fined i1,000, plus nine points on his licence.
Why do magistrates say they are putting points on his licence? It's about time someone told them that you cannot put points on a foreign licence. I would say to the family of the man killed: make sure that the fine is paid.
