MARTINTRUX group managing director Russ Peters has been elected chairman of the Road Haulage Association International group. He takes over from John Farrant, BRS Southern's managing director.
Mr Peters has been with Martintrux for 15 years, having joined the company at the age of 20 in 1969, His first position was assistant trailer manager, becoming general manager three years later.
In 1976 he became a director and five years later became joint managing director of Martintrux. In 1983 he was made group managing director of the Martintrux group of companies.
