9 For the first time the woman's point of hew will be voiced from the hitherto al-tale platform for the Institute of Road transport Engineers' annual conference. Making the breakthrough will be Mrs Varjorie Erskine-Wyse, national secretary )f the Townswomen's Guild. The conference heme will be "Environmental problems 'or road transport engineers in the UK tnd Europe."
The conference will be held on May 12 tnd 13 at Solihull Civic Hall, Warwickshire.
