Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Aerola and Palletaire vary greatly according to the application envisaged; quotations on request.

The Joloda pallet handling system produced by Joloda Handling Equipment Ltd., 205 Menlove Avenue, Liverpool 18, utilizes strong rust-proofed steel channels let into the vehicle floor. The channels usually run longitudinally, though transverse applications are possible. Loaded pallets are placed on the vehicle platform by fork-lift truck and when levering jacks sliding in the channels are operated the pallet is manually pushed along to the desired position for transport. Some users propel the loaded pallets some distance along the floor of the vehicle by a simple push from the fork-lift truck and this method enables the driver or loader to complete the movement manually.

The manufacturing and marketing rights for the Rolamat conveyor system developed by Gloster Saro Ltd. have recently been acquired by Pelee Engineering Ltd., of Handcross, Sussex, who intend to exploit its potentialities in road transport and warehousing to the full.

Rolamat is a light alloy roller conveyor track normally made up in 18 ft. lengths. Rollers, of 1 in. or 2 in. diameter, can be fitted at 3 in., 6 in., 9 in. or 12 in., pitch according to requirements and the cost per foot run varies from £1 to £2. A four track installation in a vehicle costs from £4 to £8 per foot of body length. Loaded pallets are secured by a patented restraint block but other devices are optiong.

Rolamat high capacity needle roller bearings are grease packed for life and are usable at extreme limits of temperature—in the cold store or in tropical climates. They offer minimum resistance to rolling—using steel shod pallets only 9 lb. effort is needed to move a 1,000 lb. load.

Widely used in aviation, Rolamat is admirably suited to van pallet loading using fork-lift trucks or tail board loaders. A "cartridge" loading system utilizing a vansized pallet is an interesting possibility for unit load or container movement.
