ATEST aid in the MasseyFerguson equipment-user-training programme is a mobile articulated training unit which will leave soon on a tour of the Middle East. It comprises a Volvo F.88-32 tractive unit coupled to a Carrimore step-frame semi-trailer, on which Carrimore has built a farming equipment exhibition unit.

The hardwood and steel framed body is finished in sheet aluminium alloy. The back opens to provide a drive-in ramp and can be equipped with steps and handrails for exhibition purposes. Open-down sides can be used individually and provide an additional roofed floor, or if used as a classroom, the entire floor area can be enclosed with detachable canvas sides.

The main floor area of the training unit can accommodate two large farm tractors. A separate compartment serves as an office, and another section is used as sleeping accommodation.
