TRANSPORT Development Group Ltd. has acquired the issued share capital of 1. M. Burgess Ltd., of East Percy Street, North Shields, incorporated in 1935 and operating a fleet of some 22 general haulage vehicles. Book value of its net assets at the last audited balance sheet was £56,216. The company will continue to be under the direction of the present managers, Mr. W. R. Burgess and Mr. D. P. Burgess.
