Co. (London). .Ltd., Wiggie Works, Redhill, Surrey, now produce a pack containing a set of their anti-corrosion products. A tin of RustAnode, a bottle of Capalla. a wire brush for removing loose rust and an instruction leaflet are included in the kit, which costs 7s. 6d.
Rust-Anode can be applied by brushing, spraying or dipping, the coat formed being almost 95 per cent. pure zinc. It is said to last indefinitely against rust and to be equivalent to "cold galvanizing.
Capalla cleans corrosion from steel, etching the surface to provide a perfect key for paintwork. The phosphate coat it forms will also protect the metal, but not to the same extent as Rust-Anode.
