Many Applications for Licences for Regular Services and Tours under Consideration TBE Traffic Commissioners in the South Wales area are busily engaged on the task of considering applications from passenger-vehicle operators for permission to work coach and bus services.

Ensign Motor Coaches, Ltd., of London, wishes to run a coach service from London to Aberystwyth bi-weekly from October to April, and daily from April to October. In the South Wales traffic area it is proposed to take up and set down passengers at New Radnor, Ponybont, Llandrindad Wells, fRhayader, LIangurig and Aberystwyth.

Another application is that of Messrs. T. P. Williams, of St. Dogmaeis, who applied for permission to run a group of excursions and tours starting from St. Dogmaels to South and West Wales. Mr. H. F. Phillips, of Pontypool, proposes to run a group of excursions and tours starting from Abersychan to Barry Island. ML W. T. Jones, of Bryncethin, has applied for licence.s for tours from Ogmore and Garw, Penybont and Bridgend ; the Eclipse Saloon Bus Service, of Clydach, from Ystalyfera ; G. H. Miller and Son, Ltd., of Cirencester, from Cirencester to Cardiff ; and T. Williams And Co., of Blue Bird Services, Skewen (Glum), from Skewen to Porthcawl and Mumbles.
