Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

is to see how easy they are to live with on a day-to-day basis. Some traits, good or bad, will only reveal themselves during continual use. For instance, you might not notice that the cabin heats up during a brief encounter, but it will soon become apparent when you spend time stuck in traffic, But as regular readers will knowEGO6 COU also ran the gauntlet with South London and came off worse, having extra paintvvork added to the driver's side panels by some 'yoofs' — Banksy it was not.

So a visit to a repair shop was in order for sonic restoration, along with the smoothing of a few battle scars it had picked up on its travels ( note to self— do not lend vehicles to markerilmg department).

Our encounter with Dees in Wimbledon was a mixed affair. The dealership initially provided sound and friendly service as regards getting the quote and booking it in— but once the Transit was left with them phone calls weren't returned and the completion date was delayed due to a misunderstanding over the depth of repair required.

However, Dees redeemed itself by offering a courtesy car to cover the extra repair days and returning our Transit complete with fully polished exterior and clean interior—we've always been suckers for a shiny cab.

Elsewhere our Ford continues to perform well in terms of overall practicality thanks to a sound chassis and load space, combined with its practical cab.

Baas mentioned, time has also revealed a few character traits. The 2.4-litre Duratorq engine, for all its zesty power delivery when on the move, is edgy when pulling off, chomping at the bit with considerable enthusiasm. This becomes a bit of a chore during urban work.

And the cabin, a lesson in practicality, is noticeably smaller than some German competitors, with a higher degree of wheelarch intrusion. There's also a matter of the car-sourced steering wheel, which feels at odds with the Transit's size — not to mention the cab lighting which comes from a Cortina (no, really).
