lveco is fitting all its CVs, from the 3.2-tonne Daily to the 44-tonne Stralis, with vehicle glass and component security etching, marking and registration systems by Retainagroup.
The visible permanent markings on the vehicles' glass and major components include a unique code and 24-hour contact telephone number for the International Security Register, where the vehicle and owner details are registered.
The company claims that a marked and registered vehicle is 55% less likely to he stolen than an unmarked one.
