• Lucas has issued three updates to its G202 maintenance manual. They are: 3C4a — relating to fixed cam, sliding shoe commercial vehicle brakes with manual or automatic slack adjusting; 3E2a — relating to Girling reaction beam caliper for disc brakes on trucks and buses up to 12 tonne GVW; 5A19a — relates to agricultural tractors.
The updates include the latest design and detail changes on the brakes and how this will affect service and maintenance procedures. The G202 manuals are issued to maintenance fitters and technicians after they have completed the Lucas training courses.
