CAPITAL CONFERENCE • Capital Transport Campaign
TCAPITAL RANSPORT CAMPAIGN (CAPI'l'AL) has organised a conference on transport in London called Freedom to Move. It will be held at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London WC1 on Saturday 22 September from 09.15hrs to 17:00hrs.
The conference will cover three main issues — ownership, control and accountability; fares and concessionary travel; and overcrowding, capacity and investment.
Speakers will include Margaret Hodge (chair of the Association of London Authorities), and Anita Pollock MEP. Chris Pond (director of the Low Pay Unit) has also been invited.
