Goodbye Lakes / Stratford-based bus tour operator Guide Friday has decided to pull out of its Lake District Tour this month after a difficult summer season, including lively competition from resident bus operator Cumberland.
It is understood that the service will not be resumed until next summer, but Guide Friday will only confirm the service is "under review".
