'86 (CM July 5) is Gordon Roberts, transport manager of SGB Imports of Larbert,, Stirlingshire. Roberts was the only contestant to correctly calculate the actual fuel consumption of 35.94kt/100km (7.86inpg) for the Cummins L10-290-powered Seddon Atkinson tractive unit running at 38-tonnes GCW around the 7,405.5km (4,601.6 miles) route.
