• The British Standards Institute has updated the recently-published standard for power driven mobile cranes to give wider coverage for articulated jib cranes mounted on load-carrying vehicles.
The primary object of BS1757; 1986 Power-driven mobile cranes, is to ensure reliability and safety without placing restrictions on the general design of cranes or the methods employed in their construction.
