Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ALL-steel tilt bodywork for TIR international operations has been introduced by Lawrence David Ltd of Peterborough. The whole framework, including dropsides, is made of steel, but, claims the manufacturer, it is light enough to be dismantled quickly by hand. A complete 12m TIR body weighs 1270 kg (25 cwt) complete with battens and sheet.

The body can also be used as a flat platform or as a dropside — the removable steel pillars being in two sections and slotting into one another.

Any pitch or height of pillars and dropsides can be ordered and rear doors complete with locking bars can be specified instead of a tailboard.

The standard body is fora 12m interior length a five-bay unit with a 2.4m interior length — a five-bay unit with a 2.4m (7 ft 101/2 in) interior height and enough interior width to accept two rows of 1.2m pallets abreast. The body costs about £1,000 and can be built on any make of trailer. There is a choice between nylon or polyester sheet material.
