Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

operating experience, and having now come into a small amount of capital. I am wondering whether it would be a good business venture to set up a trailer servicing centre near the mid-point of one of the main trunk service routes, perhaps within easy reach of one or more motorways. Da you think the traffic build-up would justify this?

ABearing in mind that both chassis and

trailer manufacturers have been expanding their service facilities in recent years, and are still doing so, there might still be excellent scope for a well-equipped trailer servicing centre capable of offering quick service to customers. One of the problems is that servicing equipment and adequate spares stocks may eat up a large part of the initial capital available, and we certainly think that you would need to have a partner or manager with comprehensive knowledge of trailer business and operational requirements.

As to the location of such a servicing centre, there would probably be better chance of success near one end of a long-distance run than in the centre.
