Status Quo, Pending Appeals

THE appeals to the Scottish Court of Session against the Transport Tribunal appeal decision in the case of Russell of Bathgate Ltd. and House of Fraser (The Commercial Motor last week) are proceeding through the expected legal channels, writes a Scottish correspondent. The Russell vehicles have been maintained on A operation pending the hearing of the appeal. In the case of House of Fraser, replies were due and are understood to have been lodged.

This now means that the status quo applies until the hearing of the Scottish appeals against the Tribunal decisions.
