THE INTERNATIONAL Tractor is built with ample power for all kinds of industrial, municipal, and commercial service. In road building and maintenance, in industrial plants, etc., where these tractors are in daily use, they are giving such satisfactory service that the demand for them is rapidly increasing. The dispatch with which an INTERNATIONAL enables work to be done helps to account for the increas ing demand. The three forward speeds give a choice suitable for long, hard pulls, or for a quick move from one location to another.
Modem Design. The INTERNATIONAL Industrial Tractor embodies the most modern developments in tractor design and construction. The engine is of the valve in -head, four cylinder, heavy..duty tyre. Its working parts are thoroughly protected from dust and dirt, which makes it well adapted to all kinds of road constiuction and maintenance work. The main frame forms a rigid and substantial foundation for the engine and a dust-and dirt-proof housing for working parts.
Other Outstanding Features. These tractors are
equipped with the famous two-hearing crankshaft. The cylinders are removable and should one become scored or Wein it can be easily replaced with a new one. The clutch is of the multiple-disc dry-plate -type and has ample friction surface to ensure proper transmission of power and prevent grabbing. The tractor is springmounted in front which protects the engine from shocks.
Disc wheels are used both front and rear, equipped with solid rubber tyres. Special wheel equipment can be supplied to meet conditions. Where powei is needed for belt work a pulley attachment can be used. The power take-off can also be applied and enables the tractor to deliver power at the rear for running the pulled machine or for driving more than one machine at a.time.
