1 The first Volvo F12 to be lade at the manufacturer's nly UK factory, at Irvine, Ayrshire, came off the production line this week, completing an expansion which takes capacity there to 4,500 units a . year and has created 100 jobs.
The F12 is currently made at Volvo's truck assembly plants in Belgium and Sweden. Irvine is already producing F10, FL7 and FL10 models and Volvo says Irvine-built trucks will account for 70% of its UK sales within two years.
The first F12 was driven off the production line by Scottish industry minister Ian Lang.
