• Seen at the Paris Show was the new Citroen 4x4 C25 SEVEL van. This is the first look at the all-wheel-drive van that will be coming to the UK next year, although details in Paris were scant.
Commercial Motor understands that the vehicle uses a viscous coupling in its driveline to prevent wind-up between the front and rear axles.
There is a turbo-diesel version, although a petrol-engined version is also offered by the manufacturer.
Whether Citroen will take a 4x4 version of the C25 van in the UK is uncertain, although the SEVEL-built van will certainly be seen in Peugeot Talbot Express, if not Fiat Ducato guises.
