I Lorry drivers in Liverpool e set to strike for one day xt week because they claim it enough haulage work is rriing to the city.
The Transport and General orkers' Union's branch 541 ok a vote on Sunday to hold protest demonstration — but e local Road Haulage Assoltion says the dispute would self-defeating. "It will be st another nail in the coffin," ys district manager Bob Entstle. "Customers aren't iing to use hauliers, even if ir rates are competitive, if ere is no stability."
