not to take disciplinary action against the licence of Thomas Mosedale and Sons, but has only renewed it for three years because of maintenance problems.
The Manchester-based company had applied to renew its national licence in respect of four vehicles in possession, with two to be acquired from its head office at Flixton, and in respect of seven vehicles in possession, with five to be acquired from a site in Warrington, Cheshire.
The company had been called before the DLA following the issue of four prohibition notices.
The company said it was now more aware of the maintenance requirements and its system had been altered.
