A 72-YEAR-OLD Coventry pensioner who is a systematic and dedicated drinker of Black Country ale travels 600 miles a week in pursuit of his hobby. With the single-mindedness of a pro, he leaves home at about 8.45am five days a week and uses his pensioner's free pass to travel by bus, train and bus to Coseley, near Wolverhampton. The journey takes about three hours and after a couple of hours in two pubs the indefatigable drinker sets off home again.
