A system of documentation control has been developed by the dock company. The five-part Internal Delivery Order (100), issued to the driver at the Import Office, authorises the collection of the cargo from transit shed or warehouse, serves as a gate pass for imported goods leaving the port and notes the quality and condition of cargo and greatly speeds, accounting procedures. Each page is colour coded; copies are retained by the delivery driver, import office, police gate, warehouse foreman and accounts department.
