Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

'EE, I WAS VEXED when I read CM's Editorial "Dangerous game" on September 22, Please let us see this truck racing before we discourage it. After all, it is held off the public highway before an audience who are there because they are sufficiently Interested to see such a spectacle.

Having been a keen follower of car racing for a number of years I know that Mr Wheatcroft (circuit owner) and his team will have done all in their power to make it as safe as possible. Have you forgotten that the disc brake as we know it today was developed in a racing car? What a boon to safety on the roads that has been.

Everyone will share your hope that there are no incidents, but I do hope that some spectacular photographs can be taken. Surely they cannot be more spectacular than the new video advertisement for the Leyland Road Runner, or is that what the public want to see a seven and a half ton truck being driven on two wheels? Some Image!!

Please let us read a fair report on the Grand Prix in your excellent publication.
