VICTORY Bodies of Portsmouth is now offering a range of high capacity glass reinforced plastic and ply Luton van bodies designed for the long wheelbase Freight Rover 350 chassis cabs.

For 3.6m (11.8ft) wheelbase models, Victory builds a 3.81m (12.5ft) body with a 18.48cum (660cuft) load volume; 3.2m (10.49ft) wheelbase variants can be fitted with a 3.50m (11.5ft) body giving a 1 7.0 8cum (610cuft) load capacity.

Maximum payload on an extra-long wheelbase diesel-engined Sherpa 350 chassis with a high capacity glass reinforced plastic Luton body is 1,500kg (29.55cwt).

Optional fittings on the new bodies, which can also be built on the extended wheelbase Ford Transit chassis cab include Glasonit grp panels, Enso Silverdeck floor, Henderson wide lathe rear roller shutters and internal lashing rails.

Prices for the Luton bodies range from £1,476 to £2,200 plus vat depending on final specification.
