TRANSPORT officer with the Western isles Council since 1977, John Maciver, has been elected an associate member of the institute of Transport Administration.
Mr Maciver was presented with his certificate at a ceremony in the council headquarters by Donald MacCuish, senior transport services officer with the Highlands and Islands Development Board and national vice-president of the loTA.
