Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I-10W much can coach operators learn from the airline business? This is a question which we are setting out to answer in the third psv operators' conference to be sponsored jointly by CM and the PVOA. Two speakers will be looking specifically at coach/air links on conference day, while an optional half-day visit to London airport will include a presentation by BOAC on the airline's approach to design for passenger comfort — seating, decor and so on.

The main conference will be on Thursday November 2 at the Centre Airport Hotel, adjoining Heathrow airport; the optional half-day will be on November 1.

Other topical subjects will be covered by speakers in the business sessions — Value Added Tax and its effects on psv operators; and two prominent distributors giving some frank advice about coach specification, purchase, maintenance and resale.

The fee (inclusive of refreshments, lunch and conference documents) for the November 2 sessions is £13; with the extra half-day the fee is £19, but this includes hotel accommodation and breakfast, the BOAC visit and transport. (Cocktails and dinner on November. 1 will be provided free.) The conference is open to all Passenger Vehicle Operators' Association members and associate members.
