• William Nuttall Transport Ltd has announced that in June it acquired as from January 1 1972 the whole of the issued share capital of J. E. Ball and Co Ltd, satisfied half by £215,125 cash and half by 192,075 Nuttall Ordinary shares of 25p each. At the date of acquisition Ball owned the whole of the share capitals of John E. Ball (Bradford) Ltd, Thomson (Bradford) Transport Ltd and Ball & Thomson (Avonmouth) Ltd, and also the businesses of G. C. Morley and M. & B. Services.
