• To assist industrial transport managers in dealing with the complexities of Value Added Tax, the Freight Transport Association has published a leaflet entitled VAT and Transport. The leaflet gives a general description of the principles behind the tax, as well as its effects on the transport industry. Costing lop for members and 15p for non-members, the leaflet is available from the FTA's Head Office at Sunley House, Bedford Park, Croydon, CR9 I XU.
