THE Western Licensing Authority, Mr. S. W. Nelson, on Monday opened in Bristol the new premises of R. C. E. Hutton, Ltd. The depot was designed to the requirements of Mr. Hutton and offers an unrestricted floor space of some 13,000 sq. ft. Full maintenance facilities have been incorporated in the premises.

Mr. Hutton's father, Mr. Alfred Hutton, founded the business some 50 ,years ago, it then being known as Hutton's Transport. This undertaking was nationalized in 1949, but a year later Mr. R. C. E. Hutton founded the present company, with his wife as co-director.

Today a fleet of over 20 vehicles is operated, being a mixed one of every type up to 10-tonners.

Mr. Hutton is a well-known local haulier, who is a prominent member of the Western area of the Road Haulage Association.
