Mr. E. L. Tuff, director and general manager of the Projectile and Engineering Co., Ltd., London, has been appointed deputy managing director.
Mr. J. A. Kemp has relinquished his position as a director of Albion Motors, Ltd., Glasgow, after 27 years' service with the company. Two years ago he retired from his appointment as chief designer, and since then has served the company in the capacity of engineering consultant.
Mr. G. H. Love has been appointed chairman and chief policy officer of the Chrysler Corporation of Detroit. Mr. L. A. Townsend continues as president and has also been appointed chief administrator and operating officer of the corporation. Mr. I. J. Minett, group executive and chief operating officer of the corporation's international operations, has been elected a vice-president. Mr. .1. W. Warner has been appointed to the Board of Alkaline Batteries, Ltd., manufacturers of Nile and Britannia batteries, of Redditch, Worcs.
Mr. W. I. Green has been appointed Manchester area manager of Oswald Tillotson, Ltd. Mr. J. Kennedy will succeed him as sales representative at the company's Burnley head office.
Mr. W. P. Howard has been appointed public relations officer to the Turner and Newall, Ltd., group. For more than five years Mr. Howard was publicity manager of Ferodo, Ltd., and he has been succeeded in that position by Mr. P. R. W. Jupe, for many years with the Shell International Petroleum group.
Mr. Frank Matey, chief engineer at the Wolverhampton factory of The Villiers Engineering Co., Ltd., has retired after 22 years' service. He will be sue-. ceeded by Mr. F. W. May, his principal assistant for the past four years. Mr. Anstey's servlces are being retained in an advisory capacity. Mr. H. L. Lomax has been appointed assistant export manager of the company and Mr. Francis Jones has been appointed managing director of Robert Harris, Ltd„ Wednesfield, the metal pressings division of the Villiers Group.
