We learn that Mr. W. Barnes, who has been associated with the Ford Motor Co. (England), Ltd., since March, 1910, has relinquished his post as secretary to the company. He started with the Ford Co. in London in March, 1910, subsequently being transferred to Manchester when the Trafford Park factory was started in October, 1911. During the course of his 15 years' service Mr. Barnes has witnessed remarkable developments in the Ford Co., which, from a comparatively small concern, has grown into a huge organization in which thousands of workers and a plant capable of producing 50,000 vehicles per annum now play their part.
