Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Contrary to last week's article on M1 1 engines, Cummins is not extending its service intervals for conventional or synthetic lubricants.

Like all engine manufacturers, however, Cummins is focussing on servicing costs: marketing technical manager Paul Foulston says the company plans to show that in terms of servicing the M11 is one of the cheapest engines to run. CM will be covering this subject soon.
